Our Zucchini Salsa Story
Determined to recreate that familiar flavor, I scoured the local market for ingredients and whipped up a batch. The result? Pure culinary bliss! Sharing the salsa with friends and guests at our Cabana business sparked an unexpected demand.
Many exclaimed, "If you sold this, I'd buy it!" And so, armed with encouragement, I embarked on a modest venture. Armed with inkjet-printed labels adorning mason jars, I debuted my creations at the local market. Initially offering only a Medium heat level, feedback poured in. Belizeans, known for their love of spice, urged for a hotter option, while others preferred a milder alternative. Thus, the salsa lineup expanded to include a Superfood Medium, enriched with Turmeric & Moringa. In 2019, I officially launched the business, and since then, it's been a journey of steady growth. Today, our products grace the shelves of 27 stores across Belize, with aspirations to expand further and venture into international markets soon.
